Custom Rhone is now available at Merchwell. Sixty-five styles, the deepest range we carry from any single brand, across polos, quarter-zips, hoodies, vests, jackets and tees. Custom Rhone starts at $48 per piece, at a six-piece minimum per style and color.
Three numbers run every order: six pieces minimum per style and color, 20 business days of standard production after mockup approval, and volume breaks from 50 pieces that reach 13 percent off at 1,000. Logo setup is included at every quantity.
One number decides whether Rhone fits your roster, and it is not the price. Only 4 of the 65 styles go up to 3XL. Sixty-four carry S through 2XL and 19 start at XS, so the range is wide in the middle and narrow at the top. If your headcount needs 3XL across the board, check that first, because it is the one thing here that cannot be solved with budget.
Nate Checketts founded Rhone in 2014 as a performance brand built for men who wanted technical fabric without gym-logo styling. The Commuter line is what made it, a collection cut to survive a workout and still read as office clothing. Forty of the 65 styles we carry are polyester-based technical fabric rather than cotton, which is the whole reason the range holds up as corporate apparel.
Below is every piece worth considering, what each costs, where the sizing and the men's-to-women's split land, and the timeline to work backward from.
Why Rhone works as corporate apparel
Most branded apparel gets handed out once and then lives in a drawer. Three things change that, and Rhone clears all three.
It is technical fabric, not a cotton blank with a logo. Forty of 65 styles are polyester-based performance fabric engineered to wick moisture and resist odor. That is the difference between a piece someone wears on a Saturday and one they wear to the event and retire. The same reasoning runs through our employee apparel guide.
Buyers want fewer, better pieces, and the research is lopsided. PPAI's study of more than 3,400 consumers found 66 percent prefer fewer, higher-quality items over more low-cost ones, against 20 percent who want volume. The same study found 39 percent bought from a brand after receiving its merch. Three hundred cheap tees buy you one afternoon.
Apparel keeps earning impressions for years. ASI's 2026 Ad Impressions Study puts promotional outerwear at roughly 9,000 brand impressions over the garment's life, the highest of any category measured. PPAI's Product Power 2026 survey of over 5,000 respondents adds the rest: 65 percent say they are very likely to keep a branded piece six months or longer, naming durability, design and material as the reasons.
The custom Rhone collection: 65 pieces with your logo
Prices below are the starting per-piece figures on the site today. Every card shows live pricing at your quantity, so you can price a 50-piece run against a 250-piece run before asking us for anything.
Polos
Ten polos, and the split is clean. The Commuter Polo at $103 is the dressiest and the one that passes in a client meeting. The Women's Course To Court Polo at $86 is its counterpart and the piece to order alongside it. For a golf outing, the Golf Sport Polo at $86 is purpose-built. The WFH Polo at $77 is the cheapest way into the category and the right call when the number gets multiplied across a full team.
Quarter-zips and half-zips
Nine quarter-zips, and this is where most programs land, because a quarter-zip fits a wider size range than a polo and layers over whatever someone already owns. The Commuter Quarter-Zip Sweater at $112 and the Women's Dreamglow Half-Zip at $120 are the pair to build around. The Rise Quarter-Zip at $94 is the budget line, and the Landmark Quarter-Zip at $129 is the step up when the piece is going to someone senior.
Hoodies and crewnecks
Nineteen sweatshirt styles, the largest category in the range. The Dreamstate Hoodie and the Women's Dreamglow Hoodie both at $120 are the matched pair, and they ship well to remote teams because a hoodie forgives a size guess. Crewnecks read more like office clothing, so the Commuter Crew Neck Sweater and the Women's Dreamglow Crewneck at $103 are the safer pick when you do not know where a piece will be worn.
Vests
A vest removes most of the fit risk on a wide roster, which is why six of them are here. The FiDi Fleece Vest at $112 is the one named after a financial district for a reason, and it is the safest company-wide pick. The Long Game Vest at $120 runs more technical. At the top, the True North Vest at $155 and the Voyage Down Vest at $198 are real outerwear and belong on a short list rather than a headcount.
Jackets and outerwear
Nine jackets, and this is the tier where a single piece carries a gift on its own. The Dreamstate Quilted Jacket at $172 and the Women's Mirage Jacket at $146 are the pair for a leadership group. The True North Jacket at $181 and the Voyage Down Jacket at $250 sit at the top of the range. At $250 you are buying for a top-20 client list, not a team.
Tees, and where the budget starts
Eleven tees, starting with the Origin Slim Fit T-Shirt at $48 and the Women's Ultimate Layer Long Sleeve at $52. The Reign Short Sleeve at $60 comes in more colorways than anything else in the range, and the Women's Serene T-Shirt at $64 is its counterpart. A tee is the right call for conference and event merchandise, where the number has to clear a per-attendee budget.
How custom Rhone ordering works
Four rules govern every order. Two of them will change what you pick, and one will change your calendar.
Six pieces per style and color, and that is the whole floor. No larger order minimum sits behind it. Six men's quarter-zips, six women's half-zips and six vests is a legitimate 18-piece order covering three roles, instead of handing everyone the same garment.
Check the size range before you fall for a style. Sixty-four of 65 styles run S through 2XL and 19 start at XS, but only four reach 3XL. On a company-wide rollout that is the constraint that bites, and it bites after people have already picked a favorite. Ask us for the 3XL list before you circulate options.
The men's and women's split is 46 to 19. Rhone built its reputation on men's performance apparel and the catalog still reflects that. The women's range is real and the Dreamglow and Course To Court lines cover most programs, but a few men's styles have no women's counterpart. Pair styles deliberately rather than assuming a match exists.
Twenty business days of standard production after mockup approval. Artwork setup and the mockup round sit in front of that, so five weeks is the honest planning number and six is comfortable. Count backward from the date people need the pieces in hand, and check your logo against our guide to decoration methods if it carries fine text, because thread resolves detail differently than ink.
What a custom Rhone program costs
Three tiers, and which one you land in depends more on who receives the piece than on how many you buy.
Event tier, from $48 to $86. Tees, the WFH Polo and the entry quarter-zips. Best for conference handouts, booth staff and anything multiplied across 300 people that still has to clear a budget line.
Program tier, from $94 to $129. Polos, quarter-zips, hoodies, crewnecks and the fleece vests. This is where most company-wide apparel and new hire welcome kits land, and it is the band Rhone is built around.
Gift tier, from $137 to $250. The Mirage and Dreamstate jackets, the True North and Voyage pieces, the Wander Cardigan. At this level you are buying for a board, a leadership group or a key-client list. The same logic drives our corporate holiday gifts planning.
Volume moves these numbers, though less than it would on a blank. Breaks land at 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 pieces, taking 3, 5, 9, 11 and 13 percent off. Send your headcount and the pieces you are weighing and we will come back with exact per-piece pricing and a mockup inside one business day.
How to order custom Rhone for your team
1. Pick the styles and colors. Tell us the use case if you would rather not choose from 65 options, or build the mix yourself in Pack Builder. Six pieces per style and color is the floor, so there is room for more than one option.
2. Send your logo early. Vector files work best. We set the artwork up for the placement you choose and send a proof before anything runs.
3. Approve the mockup. You sign off on placement, thread colors and final pricing before production starts. The 20-day clock begins here, not when you place the order.
4. Production and delivery. Ship to one office, or send Claim Pages to each recipient so they pick their own size and enter their own address. For programs that reorder, we can hold stock and ship as people join. Chasing sizes by email is where most apparel programs stall.
How Rhone compares to the other brands we carry
Six apparel brands now sit in this range, and they are not interchangeable. Here is where each one wins.
Against Vuori. This is the closest comparison and the one most buyers are deciding. Vuori is softer and more lifestyle, Rhone is more technical and reads slightly more corporate. The practical difference is the minimum: Rhone needs six pieces per style, Vuori needs 24. For a small run Rhone wins outright. Our custom Vuori launch guide has the other side.
Peter Millar is the dressier label. It prices from about $75 and runs past $200, and every order needs co-branding approval, which adds a step Rhone does not have. Read our guide to custom Peter Millar when the room is senior and the dress code is real. Rhone suits a tech or finance team that wants performance fabric over a golf look.
Johnnie-O and TravisMathew sit on the golf side. Both are preppier and start lower, with custom Johnnie-O from $43 and custom TravisMathew from $23. Pick one of those for an outing or a client scramble. Rhone is the better call when the pieces will be worn to work rather than to a course.
Patagonia and Marine Layer solve different problems. Patagonia carries the most weight as a gift and refuses chest logos, which our custom Patagonia guide covers. Marine Layer is softer and more casual, built around fleece. Rhone has more range than either, with 65 styles against their narrower lineups.
Where custom Rhone fits
Four programs account for most of what we quote in this range.
Company-wide apparel. Quarter-zips and fleece vests in the $94 to $120 band fit the widest size range with the least fit risk. Pair them with Claim Pages so nobody is collecting sizes in a spreadsheet, and confirm the 3XL list first.
Onboarding. A Dreamstate or Dreamglow hoodie at $120 is the anchor piece in most new hire kits we build. Hold stock with us and ship per start date rather than ordering in batches.
Client events and golf outings. The Golf Sport Polo and the Course To Court line cover a mixed field, and the six-piece minimum means separate men's and women's styles without inflating the order.
Executive and top-client gifts. The Voyage Down Jacket at $250 and the True North Jacket at $181 carry enough on their own to go out single, without a box built around them.
Frequently asked questions about custom Rhone
Does Rhone go up to 3XL?
Only on four of the 65 styles. Sixty-four run S through 2XL and 19 start at XS. If 3XL is non-negotiable for your roster, ask us for that short list before you pick a style, because it is the single most common reason a Rhone order gets reworked.
Rhone or Vuori for a company-wide rollout?
Rhone, if the run is small. The six-piece minimum per style beats Vuori's 24, so you can offer three styles to a 40-person team without overbuying. Go Vuori if the audience skews young and casual and the volume is there. Our custom Vuori collection guide covers that side in full.
Is there a women's range, or is Rhone men's only?
There is a real women's range, 19 of the 65 styles, built mostly around the Dreamglow and Course To Court lines. It covers polos, half-zips, hoodies, crewnecks, jackets and tees. What it does not do is mirror every men's style one for one, so pair pieces deliberately rather than assuming a counterpart exists.
What is the cheapest way to order Rhone for a large team?
The Origin Slim Fit T-Shirt at $48 and the Women's Ultimate Layer Long Sleeve at $52 are the floor. For apparel people keep rather than wear once, the WFH Polo at $77 is the better value, and the 100-piece break takes another 5 percent off. Below roughly $70 a piece you are giving up the technical fabric that makes the brand worth ordering.
How far ahead should I order for a December handout?
Start by the first week of November. Twenty business days of production is four calendar weeks, artwork and the mockup round sit in front of that, and December removes working days from the middle. Merchwell's stated cutoff for December delivery is November 15, and that assumes artwork is ready when you order.
Is Rhone worth it over a standard performance polo?
It depends on whether the piece has to survive a regular rotation. A $25 polyester polo pills after a few washes and gets retired. The PPAI research is consistent on this: durability, design and material are what people name when they explain why they kept something. Rhone sits in the band where a corporate piece stops looking corporate, and that is what you are paying the difference for.
The argument for spending $112 on a quarter-zip instead of $35 is not about the quarter-zip. It is that one of them gets worn in front of people who have never heard of your company and the other does not. Rhone's range is the widest we carry, which means the real work is narrowing it. Send us the headcount and the occasion and we will cut 65 styles down to three. If you want to weigh the alternatives first, start with our custom Vuori collection guide or the custom Johnnie-O lineup.
Noah Jolly runs Merchwell, which builds custom merch programs for companies from forty-person startups to Affirm, Capital One, and PepsiCo. For the kit formats these pieces usually ship inside, read our guide to employee onboarding kits.
